As perfect as they look sometimes, celebrities have just as hard of a time keeping their romances together as the rest of us. See which stars split this year.
Ruby Rose and Phoebe Dahl
‘Orange Is the New Black' actress Ruby Rose and her fianceé, designer Phoebe Dahl, decided not to take a trip down the aisle after all. The two dated for two years, and obviously still have lots of love for each other, judging by a tweet Rose sent after the split. “Phoebe remains very dear to my heart. I will forever treasure our time together,” she wrote. “I’m a better person because of the time we shared.” (Splash News)
Robert Carradine and Edie Mani
Being together for 25 years doesn’t mean that you’ll be together forever. Just ask actor Robert Carradine ('Revenge of the Nerds’) filed for divorce from his wife of 25 years, Edie Mani, just before the holidays. They share two adult children. (Getty Images)
Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid
Actress Courteney Cox and her rocker beau Johnny McDaid didn’t quite make it to the altar. After a 17-month engagement, the couple ended their relationship when he reportedly moved out of her L.A. abodes just before Thanksgiving. The couple started dating in late 2013 after they were introduced by singer Ed Sheeran. Six months later, they were engaged. (Getty Images)
Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas (aka G.I. Joe) had the best name for a celeb couple, so of course they had to go and break up! In early November, a source close to her confirmed that their five-month relationship had ended. “It was not a dramatic breakup,” the source told 'The Insider With Yahoo.’ “They both were too busy and are working a lot the next few months. Before they dated, they were already good friends and they will definitely stay friendly. No bad blood there. It was amicable.” (Getty Images)
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez
Twice-divorced star Halle Berry said many times that she wouldn’t marry again. She did and, two years after marrying French actor Olivier Martinez, she announced plans for yet another. “It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce,” Berry and Martinez said in a statement given to People. “We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus of what is best for our son [2-year-old Maceo]. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life and we hope that you respect our and, most importantly, our children’s privacy as we go through this difficult period.” (WireImage)
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield
After three years, 'Amazing Spider-Man’ co-stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield called it off for good in 2015’s summer of bad breakups, although it didn’t make news until just before Halloween. The two had taken a break in April but reunited a few weeks later. “They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close,” an insider told Us Weekly about the second split. “It just wasn’t working.” ( Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images)
