Aamir Khan Was Not Ousted From 'Incredible India' Campaign, Says Ministry Of Tourism

Aamir Khan, who had been the brand ambassador for tourism campaign 'Incredible India', found himself in hot waters after his 'intolerant India' comment and there were reports recently that as a result, he has been ousted from the campaign.

However, a senior official from the Ministry of Tourism rubbished the news and clarified that their contract with the advertising agency for this project was over after they delivered what was asked of them and that Aamir's statement regarding rising intolerance in India was a non-issue for them. When asked if Aamir would be featured in any advertisements for the ministry, the official gave a non-committal reply.
