January Jones turns 38 today, but she’s not ready to act like an adult.
The Mad Men alum shared a great Instagram post Tuesday — and not just because the adorable photo showed her with a smile-inducing double chin and gave us “Fat Betty” flashbacks. It was what she wrote about not growing up.
“Announcement,” the blonde’s post began. “On this day of my birth, I would like to declare that I refuse to grow up, and that I’d like life to stop making me try. Instead, I’m going to feel emotions deeply, have tantrums when I feel life unfair, not always do things in moderation, and make a big mess sometimes.”
The single mom, who briefly dated her The Last Man on Earth co-star Will Forte last year, continued, “I want to run with abandon and laugh until I [breathe] in gasps. I will love unconditionally and sometimes be afraid of the dark. I was once told that are as old as you feel, so if that’s true, Mom & Dad I’m gonna need this sweater back,” she wrote, referring to a Sesame Street top she’s rocking with her angular haircut. “Thanks for all the love.”
