Akshay Kumar, who will be next seen playing an Indian businessman from Kuwait in upcoming film Airlift, recently opened up about the film and declared that the movie is not in the commercial space at all.
Elaborating on the same, Akki said that the film is quite realistic and that the characters are not gimmicky or colourful. The Khiladi further added that the film has actually tried to portray the sequence of events as they happened at the time. Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, Airlift revolves around an operation by the Indian government to evacuate thousands of Indians from war-torn Kuwait after the Iraqi invasion.
Airlift is slated to release on January 22.
