Caitlyn Jenner Files Cross-Complaint Against Prius Driver in Fatal Car Crash

Caitlyn Jenner filed a cross-complaint earlier this week, looking to place some of the responsibility for the fatal car crash last February on another driver.

Jenner's attorney filed the compliant with the Superior Court of California claiming that the driver, Jessica Steindorff, should be held "legally responsible for some or all of damages sought" by the occupants of the Hummer involved in the multi-vehicle collision.

The complaint, which ET has obtained, also argues that Jenner is "entitled to be indemnified or partially indemnified [by Steindorff] for any and all" damages she has to pay.

Steindorff, who drove the Prius that was involved in the crash, was stopped at a traffic light on the Pacific Coast Highway. Sixty nine-year-old Kim Howe, who was driving a Lexus sedan, was stopped behind Steindorff. Jenner rear-ended the Lexus, which careened into oncoming traffic and was struck by a Hummer. Howe died from her injuries at the scene of the crash.
