Carol Vorderman just came one step closer to reaching her childhood dream and her 2016 resolution - flying solo around the world. The TV presenter, 55, proudly shared on social media that she had passed several flying tests, including the all important multi engine flying exam.
"I've been working hard in Naples Florida flying and training up for some big exams....and I passed them...hooray hooray for flying x," she tweeted to her more than 300,000 followers.
"Happy bird......multi engine flying exam passed...woohoox"
The former Countdown star could be seen smiling broadly in a snap whilst showing off her brand-new certificate. "Happy bird......multi engine flying exam passed...woohoo x", it was captioned.
In another similar snap she posted: "Yep...I'm still singing... Free to fly my Mildred x", referring to her aircraft which is named after her heroine Mildred Bruce.
