Hawick Lau and Yang Mi return with new dramas

Celebrity couple Yang Mi and Hawick Lau are returning to television with new costume dramas.

According to Yes Entertainment, the actress can be seen playing the role of fox goddess Bai Qian alongside Taiwanese actor Mark Chao in the upcoming adaptation of the popular romance novel series, "Three Lives, Three Worlds".


The 50-episode drama, co-starring Ken Chang, Maggie Wong, and Lin Binbin, tells the story of a pair of star-crossed lovers doomed to suffer tragic ending in their multiple lifetimes.

The first part of the series is also currently being turned into a movie, starring Crystal Liu and Yang Yang.

Meanwhile, Tencent Entertainment reported that Yang's husband Hawick Lau is set to return in the new Qing Dynasty drama, "Chronicle of Life".
