Justin Bieber will perform at the Grammys with Jack Ü’s Diplo and Skrillex, while the awards show has also added performances from Chris Stapleton, Gary Clark Jr. and Bonnie Raitt alongside rock supergroup Hollywood Vampires.
Bieber, Skrillex and Diplo will perform their hit “Where Are Ü Now” (nominated for Best Dance Recording) in their first live television performance. Hollywood Vampires — which comprises Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry — will also make their TV debut with a tribute to late Motörhead frontman, Lemmy Kilmister.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Cooper said he hopes to sing “Ace of Spades” at the show, and might attempt his own approximation of Kilmister’s famed snarl. “I might do it more ‘Alice Cooper style,’ but it would still have to have that growl, that guttural voice to make it work,” he said.
Breakout country star Chris Stapleton will also helm a tribute to music legend, B.B. King, who died last May. Stapleton will be joined by blues hotshot Gary Clark Jr. and six-string aficionado, Bonnie Raitt. The Grammy lineup will also boast a collaboration between Pitbull, Travis Barker, Robin Thicke and surprise guests.
