Heartbroken Kerry Katona took to her Twitter page yesterday to pay tribute to her late foster mum, Margaret Woodall, on the day of her funeral.
The star has always been open about spending time in foster care with Margaret and her husband Fred Woodall as a teenager due to her incredibly difficult childhood.
Writing on Twitter, Kerry shared: “Laying to rest one of the most important people in my life today, my wonderful foster mum!! Thank you for everything you ever did for me xxx [sic]”.
Kerry’s mum, Sue Katona, also paid tribute to Margaret, adding: “And what a great foster mum you was..rip mags xx [sic]”.
Kerry was keen to keep in contact with Margaret and Fred as she grew up despite building a relationship with her mother, and her foster parents even appeared in one of the star’s reality shows: ‘Kerry Katona: What’s The Problem?’ back in 2009.
In one segment of the episode Fred praised the mum-of-five for her positive outlook on life, explaining: “You’ve always been the type, Kerry, to laugh things off, look at it as if it were a joke, you’ve never dwelled on the problems you’ve had in the past.
