Lady Gaga is continuing to show her amazing support for Kesha in her legal battle with Dr Luke, with the Oscar nominee tweeting to say she was thinking of the ‘Tik Tok’ singer during her stunning performance at the 2016 Oscars.
Lady Gaga was nominated for Best Original Song for ‘Til It Happens To You’, written with Diane Warren, at the Academy Awards.

The song was written for ‘The Hunting Ground’, a documentary about rape culture on college campuses.
Before giving her emotional performance on the night, Lady Gaga, who was joined on stage by sexual assault survivors, tweeted Kesha to let her know she was in her thoughts.
She wrote: “@kesharose I’ll be thinking of u 2nite. This is not over we’ll stand by u until you are free to live a HAPPY life. Everyone deserves that. [sic]”
Kesha has since taken to her own social media to thank Lady Gaga, tweeting: “thank u @ladygaga and VP @JoeBiden for bringing attention to sexual assault at the oscars. it hit very close to my heart for obvious reasons [sic]”.
