Regine Velasquez to star in new drama "Poor Senorita"

Four years after her last series, songstress Regine Velasquez is set to return to the small screen through a new romantic-comedy drama, "Poor Senorita". 

According to GMA News, the singer-actress reportedly will be working with veteran actress Snooky Serna and soul singer Jaya in the new drama, although no further information has been released regarding the plot and storyline. 

Aside from Velasquez, the series will also mark the debut of "StarStruck 6" alumni, Ayra Mariano and Elyson de Dios. 


Velasquez was last seen on "I Heart You Pare" back in 2011, but had to leave the show towards the end due to her pregnancy. She was later replaced by Iza Calzado. 

She had since concentrated on hosting shows in order to spend more time with her family. 

"Poor Senorita" reportedly is scheduled to air this March.
