Critics are giving Rihanna stick her new album has dropped out of the top five in the charts – but she can take comfort from her rider.
The Bajan’s backstage list of demands for her upcoming ANTi world tour includes an endless supply of fatty snacks and booze.
She will have Cheetos, processed noodles, Oreo biscuits, vodka and red and white wines in her dressing rooms when she starts gigs in San Diego on February 26.
During an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the host read Rihanna out her calorific rider.
She listed: “Regular Cheetos, hot Cheetos, Golden Grahams cereal, Oreo’s, Cuppa Noodles, red and white wine, vodka, soda and garlic olives.”
US chat show host Ellen then asked the singer: “How much do you consume?”
Rihanna replied: “I will definitely take it with me. I just like to be prepared. You never know where you are going to be.
“I don’t eat the Oreo’s that much. I haven’t eaten Golden Grahams in about two years. Hot Cheetos – definitely happening. Regular Cheetos – when I am tired of hot Cheetos. Crunchy ones – always.”
She also required dozens of different drinks such as Corona, Vita Coco coconut water and Jack Daniel’s.
Rihanna’s snacks and sweet selection was claimed to include gummy bears, plus food for her private chef so they could prepare 12 flying-fish fillets.
Her taste for munchies should come as no surprise from a woman who’s been so vocal about her love of jazz cigarettes.
