Teresa Mo and Raymond Wong were filled with nostalgia as they sat down with fans to watch the extended version of their classic Lunar New Year movie, "All's Well, Ends Well".
As reported on Oriental Daily, the two stars, who attended the audience appreciation event, stated that they were touched seeing fans who still supported a movie that was released 24 years ago.
"I am a bit sentimental about the movie being released again," said Raymond, who plays the older brother Moon in the movie, who forced his wife out of the house for a more beautiful mistress.
Raymond also shared that the idea of the famous mahjong scene, where So (Leslie Cheung) and Mo Seung (Teresa Mo) insulted each other with vulgar metaphors, came from both stars.
Teresa Mo stated, "Leslie and I came up with the scene and the idea came from something that happened in real life," she said.
The 1992 cult classic, co-starring Stephen Chow, Maggie Cheung, and Sheila Chan, tells the story of three brothers, Moon, So, and Foon, and the people around them.
The extended version contained a gun fight scene that parodied Chow Yun Fat's "A Better Tomorrow", whereby the three brothers had to rescue Moon's wife (played by Sandra Ng).
