Being part of a Seattle Seahawks household, Anna Faris doesn’t have a horse in the race at Super Bowl 50, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be partying along with the rest of America for the big game.
“Yes, of course” it’s less exciting this year, the 39-year-old actress tells Yahoo Celebrity, breaking into fake sobs. “I gotta say though, I’ve been loving watching the Panthers play. They are such an awesome team. Like the Seahawks, it’s been really exciting to see a young, really fast, up-and-coming team doing so well. So I think I’m rooting for the Panthers — though I’m talking like I know what football is.”
The self-deprecating star, who’s best known for her comedy chops in the Scary Movie film series and now TV’s Mom, says she’s still learning the rules of the game from her hubby of six years, Chris Pratt.
This year, the Faris/Pratt household will be watching the game at home with friends on their new tube.
