Amy Schumer took to Twitter on Monday night to chastise Bachelor host Chris Harrison for calling contestant Jubilee Sharpe "complicated" during The Bachelor: The Women Tell All special.
"There is nothing wrong with 'complicated' women Chris Harrison," wrote Schumer, who declared herself "Team Jubilee for life." "You treated it like something she should fight. A women shouldn't try to be less complicated so as to hopefully attract a man. And she shouldn't find value in herself just because a dude liked her. Come on bro."
Sharpe, who is set to graduate from cardiovascular sonography school this month, joined the U.S. Army when she was 18 and was recently promoted to the rank of Sergeant. She opened up to Bachelor Ben Higgins during a one-on-one date about her childhood growing up in an orphanage in Haiti before being adopted by an American couple at age 6.
"She is smart and strong and a sergeant in the military," Schumer continued. "She lost her entire family and you say she must fight off being complicated."
