Khloe Kardashian Says She Experienced Racism Because of Her Marriage to Lamar Odom

Khloé Kardashian says she "very much so" believes racism still exists -- and she's experienced it herself because of her marriage to Lamar Odom.

"I was in an interracial marriage," the 31-year-old reality star explains on Wednesday's Kocktails With Khloé. "I would never think to have to say, 'Oh, by the way, my husband's black, so when he comes in, don't let your jaw drop.'"

Khloé says it was noticeably worse when Lamar joined the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. "When I moved to Dallas was the first time that was thrown in my face," she reveals.

Her now-estranged marriage wasn't the first time that Khloé claims she experienced racism -- it was when her dad, Robert Kardashian Sr., defended O.J. Simpson during his double-murder trial. Khloé was only 10 at the time.

"That was the first time I really experienced a ton of racism. We would get kicked out of restaurants, because my dad was defending O.J. Just really crazy things," she recalls.

"As kids, you don't understand. In my household, I was never allowed to describe a person for weight or color. I would have to give a personal characteristic," Khloé adds. "My dad was super strict about that. But yeah, racism is real."
