Jade Thirlwall has admitted that she felt “unsettled and scared” over the attention that she received from a fan that was accused of stalking her.
The fan in question, Nabeel Waseem, 33, was issued a restraining order after being formally cleared of stalking her, during a hearing at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court.

Waseem was arrested in January after visiting Jade’s grandmother’s home in South Shields, where the Little Mix star was staying at the time.
Following that incident, police warned him that if he wished to have contact with her, he must go through her record label.
He then contacted her management, claiming that he was dying from epilepsy and that he had spent thousands of pounds on Little Mix tickets and albums. He also shared a proposition that he would like to work for the group – for free.
