Today, early morning, Salman Khan left for Jodhpur to be present for the infamous blackbuck killing case, where he has been the prime accused. Salman is expected to record his statement today and would be asked if he wants to present more witnesses, following which the bench will give the final date of the judgement.
The case which has been going on for past 17 years, grabbed media headlines in 1998 when Salman was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Saath Saath Hai. Apart from poaching of 3 chinkara deers and a blackbuck, Khan has also been accused of using illegal arms.
Meanwhile, Salman reached Jodhpur around 10.00 am today and has headed straight to the court. ANI tweeted about the same and said, “Salman Khan arrives in Jodhpur to appear before court, will record his statement in the Arms Act case.”
