The moment Leonardo DiCaprio finally got his name engraved on an Oscar has been caught on camera.
And the actor – who won an award for his role in The Revenant, his fourth nomination in 23 years – was clearly in good spirits when he stopped off for the inscription before heading on to the after-parties.
As this clip shows, the 41-year-old can be heard saying to the woman engraving his Academy Award: “They do this every year? Really? I wouldn’t know.”
He then talks about taking care of it before posing for photographs.
Well done Leo!
