She has been signed off work for two months.
But Corrie’s Beverley Callard has told how she is full of “hope” after finding a new doctor to treat her depression.
The actress, who plays Liz McDonald, was given leave from the soap after she ran out of medicine she had been using since 2014.
Last week Callard, above, rapped drugs firms for putting cash before care when her medication was axed for not being profitable enough.
But now she assured colleagues she was on the mend and will soon be ready to return.
And the veteran may be back with a bang, as bosses are considering putting her at the centre of a bombshell new plot.
The 59-year-old tweeted: ‘Saw a new doctor today. Got hope! Had a good day today, things are on the up!’
Corrie bosses are now mulling over plans to bring Bev back in style with a big storyline.
A source told The Daily Star: “Everyone is delighted Beverley is feeling so much better so soon. Viewers have missed her.
“There is talk of a major storyline but it will all hinge on Beverley.”
