Denied Permission To Shoot By Chinese Government, 'Force 2' Makers To Finalize Hong Kong

We had reported a few months back that the team of Force 2 wanted to shoot some portions of their film in China, but were not getting the required permissions as the film deals with spies and espionage and the Chinese government were reluctant to let the film team shoot their country.

Now, it seems that the makers have decided to move to Hong Kong and recreate some famous monuments of China over there for their shooting schedule. “We were liaising with a line producer in China for a long time. But the script has to be censored before permission is granted. There is an interesting angle on Indo-Chinese politics which they objected to. It's integral to the narrative and we didn't want to compromise on the script so we've decided to shift base to Hong Kong,'' informed Vipul.

“We have the best technicians on board,'' he pointed out, adding they start in mid-May and will wrap up in June. “In case Hong Kong doesn't work out at the last minute, there's always Singapore or Malaysia.''

Force 2 will star John Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha along with Tahir Raj Bhasin, who will play the antagonist in the film.
