Eugenie Liu denies dating Darren Wang

Taiwanese actress Eugenie Liu (also known as Liu Yi-er) recently denied rumours that she and "Our Times" star Darren Wang are currently dating.

According to Epoch Times, the actress, who attended a beauty brand event on 30 March, stated that the two of them are no more than good friends, adding, "The two of us share the same revolutionary spirit, and we help each other a lot."

Eugenie disclosed that the two of them communicated with each other through text and phone most of the time, although they had met up with each other recently.

When told that Darren has been taking good care of her fellow female co-stars on the set of his new drama, Eugenie smiled and responded, "He likes to make friends."

As to whether there is any possibility for them to develop further, she replied, "The fate of the future is yet to be seen."

Meanwhile, Darren has also denied the rumours, saying that he is currently single.

Rumours of a relationship between the two sparked late last year when they were seen going out together on several occasions.
