The solo pop artist and model, who coupled up at a suspiciously advantageous time in both of their young careers, have now made their relationship Vogue official — which is just like Facebook official, only with Anna Wintour’s seal of approval — with a spread in the May issue of the magazine.
Shot by Mario Testino, the pair sojourned to Naples together. The 19-year-old Hadid showed off this season’s “sweet and girlish — but with a unruly rock-’n’-roll history — plaids” that the publication described as “a winning move.”

While the pair’s love has been questioned, nothing says “this is totally real” more than a beautiful editorial. They kiss — a lot — nuzzle each other’s necks, hold hands, and smile.
In their short relationship (they consciously coupled at the beginning of the year), this is the second time the lovebirds have worked together. Malik, who consciously uncoupled from his former band One Direction to become a solo artist, selected Hadid as his model muse for his debut music video Pillowtalk.
