Rapper Aristotle Pollisco, who goes by the name Gloc-9, has recently denied that he was endorsing Makati Second District Representative Abigail Binay when he decided to perform at the latter's rally, Rappler reported.
The statement was released by his agency following backlash over his performance at the aforementioned event on 28 March.
Binay is currently running for mayor.
He also previously performed at Vice President Jejomar Binay's Easter Sunday sortie in Noveleta, sparking rumours that he is also supporting the elder Binay as President.
According to his agency, PPL Entertainment, Gloc-9 has been performing in various gigs since February, and since it's the campaign season, it is only natural for an artiste to be performing in rallies.
The agency added that the rapper has performed for various candidates of several different party affiliations in March alone, and these include gigs in Laguna, Bocaue, and Cavite.
