Iggy Azalea: 'I have to have a talk with Nick Young before I put the ring back on'

Iggy Azalea is making her man work to get her back in his life after a cheating scandal threatened their engagement.

Sources claims the rapper came close to ending her romance with Los Angeles Lakers star Nick Young after video footage of him boasting about his womanising ways leaked last month (Mar16), but Iggy stood by her man.

However, her engagement ring came off and she hasn't been wearing it out in public recently, prompting speculation that all was not well at home.

In a new interview with 103.7 KVIL's Leigh Ann and Courtney Kerr, Iggy revealed Nick has some explaining to do before the Australian star decides once and for all if she still wants to marry him.

"I guess I'm still engaged, I think so," the 25-year-old said. "I know I haven't called it off; I have to have a talk with him and see how the talk goes. We're not unengaged yet."

But the Fancy hitmaker insisted her man doesn't deserve "for me to be wearing his ring right now", adding, "We're not not engaged, but you have to, like, do some work for me to put the ring back on (my finger)."

The radio chat came a day after Iggy told The Burt Show her many social media feuds in 2015 made her a little less likely to jump to conclusions, suggesting she is still not sure whether or not her boyfriend has been true to her.

"(It) kinda taught me maybe it's best to just wait until it's a little more past tense before you kind of speak (about) how you feel about something," she explained. "When you're in the heat of the moment, or things are still progressing or coming out and you're getting new information, the way you feel about things can change really quickly. It can go up and down."
