Actor James Reid has recently defended his onscreen partner and real-life girlfriend Nadine Lustre following the release of an article about the actress that was deemed offensive by many.
As reported on PEP News, the article, titled "How To Be Nadine Lustre" and written by Jacqueline Arias for lifestyle website, Preen, discussed Lustre's rise in showbiz and how she was able to make Reid fell in love with her.
Following backlash from JaDine fans, the actor took to Twitter to make his case about his relationship with his "On the Wings of Love" co-star.
Reid directed his complaint to the writer herself and wrote, "None of the many things you mentioned in your Preen article made me fall for Nadine. It was everything you missed. E.g. Personality."
He also made his case to fans on Twitter, saying, "Here's some better advice to those who read "How To Be Nadine Lustre". If you wanna find love, be someone worth loving."
Preen had since apologised for the article, and took it down from its website.
