Speaking to Lorraine about how she’s doing after her split, the Strictly Come Dancing 2015 contestant explained: “It’s been an interesting few years. I’m obviously a single mum, divorced. I think you just get stronger don’t you and you go through things and if something is not right you have to make a change.
“You have to make sure you are happy in life and make sure [it’s] the right person at the right time and that’s it really.”
She added that her two children were her priority, revealed that they’re ‘doing really well’, which has been the main thing over the past few years.
Kirsty told Lorraine: “I mean I think anybody, and I’m not speaking as anybody different in that situation, so many go through it, if you’ve got children that is your responsibility.
“They’re the ones that are often… or could be harmed and you just make sure they are ok. I’ve got lots going on and I’m very happy.”
Glad to hear it, Kirsty.
