Somebody seemed to have riled Kylie Padilla up, as the actress recently posted a long message online expressing her anger and challenging a certain someone to criticise her in person.
On 12 April, the actress posted the famous quote from the 1939 classic film, "Gone With the Wind" – "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn", and expressed her annoyance over an unnamed showbiz writer for his or her words against her.
"Yes, this is how you make your money, anything to put food on the table. I just wish you were honest with me to my face, tease me and [expletive] about me to my face I dare you. But no, you don't sound like you do to me as when you write your piece for the "newspaper"," she wrote.
Padilla stated that although she understands that such harsh criticism is part of the job, privacy and common courtesy also do exist in the real world.
"What kind of place has this world become? So it's fun to tease now? Fun to make fun of people who are trying to live their lives? Well I disagree and am angry. Not at the fact that it affects me, but it affects people in my life that are important," she added.
Although Padilla didn't mention any names or referred to any articles, many speculated that she was angry with the negative reaction to her casting as Amihan (originally played by Iza Calzado) in the remake of the hit 2005 fantasy series, "Encantadia".
