A few months ago it was announced that Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar had decided to remake the yesteryear classic Ram Lakhan. Shortly thereafter, countless rumors about the attempted remake began doing the rounds. In fact, it was even reported that stars such as Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh had turned down offers to star in the film.
However, at an event today, Ranveer hinted that he might be soon collaborating for a ‘Dhamaka’ film with Rohit Shetty and we are guessing it might very well be Ram Lakhan!
Ranveer said, “Rohit Shetty is an awesome director. I really think he is the king of commercial, masala films. I would love to collaborate with him. I have met him a bunch of time and we really, really get along. I love that he is a really simple man, a sincere man. He has a closely knit team who work wonderfully together. I am really looking forward to collaborating with him. Like I said, nothing is formalized or finalized, but given the opportunity and if everything falls into place, hopefully I will be in a big, Rohit Shetty dhamaka very soon.”
