Taiwanese singer-actress Rachel Liang and husband Zhang Nian-ping have recently tied the knot in a beautiful wedding held in Taoyuan.
As reported on Epoch Times, on 9 April, the couple exchanged vows in front of over 600 guests, with Zhang promising to always be hers, while Rachel, whose parents have passed away, gave a moving speech about marrying a man who would make her parents proud.
In an interview before the wedding, Rachel, who celebrated her 29th birthday the day before, stated that her husband and the wedding were the best birthday gift for her, and rated her husband 200 points out of a hundred.
"He is great. He is beyond my expectation," she enthused.
As for baby plans, Rachel admitted that her husband's family hopes to have a granddaughter since they only have sons. However, the two of them are in no rush to start a family.
The couple dated for two years before Zhang proposed back in September last year. They also held a traditional engagement ceremony in Kaohsiung last week, where both Zhang and Rachel, who have aboriginal roots, wore Rukai tribe costumes and underwent a number of traditional tests set by the tribe.
