Unlike most celebrities who opt for a grand destination wedding, Hong Kong singer Sukie Shek recently revealed that a simple ceremony will suffice for her.
As reported on Mingpao News, the singer, who recently accepted boyfriend Patrick Tang's proposal, stated, "When I was younger, I used to fantasise about a grand wedding. But now I think I prefer something simple. There is no need to be extravagant. Love is enough."
As for Patrick's recent proposal, Sukie said that while it was both moving and surprising, they have always set their mind on settling down when they started the relationship.
"We have always talked about getting married. There has always been that sort of agreement," she said.
As for baby plans, Sukie said that both of them will let nature take its course.
Patrick Tang popped the question in front of 50 people late last month during the celebratory party for Sukie's two-award victory at the IFPI Music Awards.
The actor revealed that they will be holding the wedding banquet in Hong Kong, although the actual date has yet to be determined.
