In a serious case of the nerves, Anne Hathaway has revealed she broke out into hives on the day of her interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
The new mom appeared on Tuesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show to chat about her new film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, but an Instagram pic she posted following her chat with DeGeneres reveals just how anxious she was, the photo showing her chest covered in red blotches.
"Proof that #ellendegeneres Nerves are real…" the Oscar-winning actress captioned the image.
Despite the nerves, the 33-year-old told DeGeneres she has discovered a newfound confidence since she and husband Adam Shulman became parents to son Jonathan exactly two months ago.
And, although one gym encounter left her in tears, she now walks into her workouts with her head held high.
"You know the people who have too many muscles to be in The Avengers? That's who works out at my gym," she told DeGeneres. "So, I would normally walk in and feel so intimidated. But I walk in and I'm like, 'Yeah, I work out with five-pound weights, but I pushed a baby out of my body! I feel good right now!'"
