Former actress-turned-ABS-CBN's CCO, Charo Santos-Concio, admitted recently that she has shot a movie with award-winning "Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis" director, Lav Diaz.
As reported on Rappler, Santos, who attended "The 25th Anniversary of Maalaala Mo Kaya" kickoff event last weekend, revealed that she was approached by Diaz back in February to star in his new movie, "Ang Babaeng Humayo".
"When he came back from Berlin, he asked me if I would reconsider going back to acting. I said, if there's a good offer or interesting character, why not?"
She stated that Diaz sent her the script two days after their conversation and she quickly said yes.
Santos-Concio, who stepped down as the CEO of the Kapamilya network late last year, stated that the new movie will be part of the Cinema One Originals Film Festival this year, although details will only be released this coming July.
As to whether she will make her comeback as a full-time actress, the "Kontrobersiyal" actress responded, "I will go with the flow."
