It was not all bad news for Heart Evangelista, whose husband, vice presidential candidate Chiz Escudero, conceded defeat in the race following the 9 May elections. It only meant that she can now have her long-postponed honeymoon.
As reported on Coconuts Manila, following the result, Evangelista took to Twitter and expressed, "Now it's time to live life!"
The couple has yet to enjoy their honeymoon since they tied the knot in February last year. Evangelista had been busy with filming obligations, while her husband had since focused on running for office.
In an interview after Escudero's press conference, the actress stated that the two of them will have so much to do now that the election season is over.
"We just got married. We finally got our honeymoon, and we can plan for a baby. There is so much to do. So it's really okay," she said.
Husband Chiz Escudero also shared the same idea, saying recently that he hopes to make it up to the actress after the elections.
