Actress Kaye Abad and former "Pinoy Big Brother" star Paul Jake Castillo are now engaged.
As reported on iWeb, Castillo popped the question in front of their close friends during Abad's birthday party held at the Bellevue Hotel in Alabang on 17 May.
Castillo, who went down on one knee, expressed, "We started off as friends, and then partner in crime. But you just couldn't help it, so you made me your boyfriend."
"Now, I'd like to seal it. Will you marry me?" he asked the actress, who was moved to tears as she nodded her agreement.
Videos of the proposal have since been published by fellow friends who witnessed the event, and have also been uploaded to YouTube.
In an interview last year, Abad admitted that she hopes that her relationship with Castillo will last.
"Of course, I don't have a boyfriend just to have a boyfriend. You think about the future too," she said.
