SEVENTEEN Sweeps Billboard with Its First Official Album

On May 4, Billboard reported “13 membered boy group SEVENTEEN ranked third on our World Albums Chart with its first official album ‘LOVE&LETTER’ and fifth on Heatseekers Albums Chart at the same time.”

It continued, “This is the group’s first time to name on Heatseekers Albums Chart and third time on World Albums Chart after its debut album and second mini album” and complimented about the group’s accomplishment.

Billboard’s ‘Heatseekers Albums Chart’ is only for rookies’ albums and set ranks. Although it wasn’t Billboard’s main album chart ‘Billboard 200’, it is meaningful that a rookie group named itself on the media’s chart.

Moreover, Billboard added, “SEVENTEEN is a group producing its album on its own and it is very rare case in Korea, especially for a rookie to do it” and pointed out the group’s strength.
