India Ross, an 18-year-old high school student from St. Louis, Missouri, pulled off quite a feat for her prom dress. Working with a local fashion designer, Ross created a colorful ensemble inspired by the Lemonade singer's bold beaded gown from the 2015 Met Gala.
Ross's impressive look took the internet by storm, and the high schooler recently spoke with Buzzfeed about the flawless design.
The high school senior explained that after seeing photos and videos of Beyonce's buzzed-about Met Gala gown, she "had the perfect image in my mind."
After graduating high school, Ross says she is planning to double major in fashion merchandizing and business when she enters Columbia College Chicago in the fall, and revealed, " I always [have planned] to open my own fashion retail store right here in St. Louis."
