As reported on On CC, the actor reportedly had a heated argument with TVB Executive Catherine Tsang regarding his "Blue Veins" co-star, Winki Lai, who plays a small role as Anjaylia Chan's best friend in the drama.
The actor reportedly defended Winki, saying that the actress has a potential to become a lead star, prompting Tsang to hold a meeting with the actress herself to discuss her career direction.
When asked about it recently, the 29-year-old actress admitted that she was grateful for Kevin's support towards her.
"He was incredibly supportive and would always encourage young actors such as myself, Anjaylia, and the others. He takes good care of his juniors," she said.
Winki revealed that she will work with Kevin again in another series and expressed hope that she can learn more from him.
In fact, this isn't the first time Winki received such a good recommendation from a senior actor. Previously, movie actor Anthony Wong had also complimented her performance in "Lord of Shanghai".
