Alia Just Gave her Take on Tanmay’s Sachin-Lata Spoof and it is Quite Diplomatic

As we all know, sometime back Tanmay Bhat released a video in which he made fun of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Needless to say, these actions soon landed the comedian in a spot of bother.

Moreover, he was criticized by all and sundry. During a recently held event, Alia Bhatt was asked to give her take on the issue. Replying to the query, the 23-year-old gave a very diplomatic response. She stressed that some of previous videos were genuinely funny.


“What are you saying? Talk about smiley things no. Tanmay also makes you laugh. Look at his funny videos. Unnke videos bahut funny hai!” she added.

Hmm. We wonder whether this was her way of supporting the 28-year-old comedian.

On a related note, a short while back, Sonam Kapoor openly supported Tanmay. Furthermore, she stressed that people should stop “spewing hate” As far as Alia is concerned, she is currently awaiting the release of Udta Punjab.
