Indie actor Kiko Matos doesn't seem to want to make peace with Baron Geisler, following a recent viral video showing their encounter at a bar in Quezon City.
As reported on InterAksyon News, the "Nilalang" actor recently went on an interview, claiming that Geisler started the fight by insisting on jamming with the performing band during that night's fundraising concert. The indie star stated that Geisler was annoyed that he reacted to the latter's attempt to steal the attention.
He also denied that he disrespected a female bartender as others alleged.
Matos admitted that he approached Geisler, who previously made headlines for assaulting a filmmaking student, to see how brave the actor was.
"I stood up and told myself to see how brave he is. So I approached him. People were already trying to pacify us, so I thought it would be better if we shook hands," said Matos.
The actor admitted that he wanted to teach Geisler a lesson, adding that the latter should not "act as if he owns the place".
To Geisler, he said, "You talk too much. Face me, don't Facebook me."
Meanwhile, Geisler stated that Matos hit him when they could have just discussed the matter during the incident.
As for Matos' message to him, Geisler responded, "Go ahead. I'm willing to fight him, face him, anytime, anywhere."
