Not many guests showed skin on the red carpet - but these women did.
Zoë Kravitz
The Big Little Lies star arguably sported the most revealing look of the night. Kravtiz wrapped up in a sheer lace Saint Laurent dress for the Met Ball; and although it had a floor-length hem and a long sleeve on one side, the frock was merely held together by two bows on the opposite side.
But only a fashion risk-taker like Kravitz can rock a look like this so effortlessly. She also kept her hair in a bun (tied by a sparkly bow that matched the one on her dress) and accessorized with two pink precious stones hanging from her ears.
Cara Delevingne
Sure, the model and actress may have covered up her face in a thick black crown with dangling, beaded tassels - she was barely recognizable on the red carpet - but the rest of her look was pretty revealing. Courtesy of Dior, the noir lattice gown featured sheer panels that ran up and down the entire front of the dress. Her legs were also essentially exposed under the frock’s transparent skirt.
But if there’s anyone who can work a look this edgy while keeping classy all at the same time, it’s Cara Delevingne. Plus, the magenta tips in her pixie cut were a welcomed touch of color in her all-black look.
Olivia Munn
Munn stunned in a custom H&M piece, proving you don't have to wear high fashion to pull off the nearly-naked aesthetic. While her golden number appeared covered in the front, the sides consisted of completely see-through chainmail, which matched the material in her hood.
"My inspiration for my dress was armor. What I wanted to portray was strength, and I love that the dress makes me feel strong and powerful," the actress told Pop Sugar.
Leave it to Olivia Munn to teach us that armor can be sexy, too.
