It was revealed that Ellen Adarna was a no-show at the first hearing for the child abuse and cybercrime complaint filed against her earlier.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the hearing, which was held at the Pasig City Prosecutor's Office on 4 June, was attended by Myra Abo Santos and her family, accompanied by their legal representative.
Santos was the person responsible for filing the case against Adarna, after the actress previously shared an Instagram Story of her daughter - claiming that the 17-year-old was taking photos of her illegally while they were having lunch at a restaurant back in May.
Prior to the lawsuit, Santos has urged Adarna to apologise to her family for her previous accusation. However, the actress failed to give her response to the issue.
Following Adarna's absence, the family's lawyer later confirmed that the hearing was reset to 11 June, adding that they are giving Adarna's camp a chance to appear at the hearing.
It is noted that the hearing came four days after Adarna's father and hotelier Alan Adarna passed away due to cardiac arrest.
