Liam Payne sounds more confident than ever that One Direction will reunite in the foreseeable future.
The X Factor boyband have had varying degrees of success since they went their separate ways two years ago, with some of Liam's major milestones including scoring a number-three UK single and having a baby son with girlfriend Cheryl.
The 24-year-old also knows that fans are clamouring to see 1D back on stage together, and he's told the Daily Star that he believes it will happen before too long.
"It's amazing that we're doing our own thing and then, hopefully one day soon, we get back together and have another great time of it, who knows?" he said.
For now, Liam is busy prepping for the launch of his solo debut album for the end of the year and worldwide tour to follow in 2019. He's also been linked to a mysterious gig on a US talent show.
"I have fun doing TV, and I have fun doing music, I want to do both," he insisted.
"I will always want to do music, it's just that I had so many opportunities come my way and I felt it was just such an amazing time to go and spread my wings and experiment with different types of entertainment."
That's well and good Liam, as long as these projects don't keep you from making some more Midnight Memories with One Direction for too much longer!
