Paris Jackson is no stranger to making a statement. And her most recent cause has her posing topless and posting the image on social media.
In a couple of posts to her Instagram account, the 20-year-old model is seen posing for the camera in nothing more than a pair of unbuttoned jeans, underwear, and some jewelry. But her exposed body is surprisingly not the topic of conversation. Instead, the young activist is calling attention to the words featured across both of her arms and stomach.
In honor of the 25th annual Life Ball, Europe’s biggest charity event in support of people with HIV and AIDS, Jackson paired up with the organization to raise awareness about the virus and the importance of testing for it. With words like “warrior,” “survivor,” and “love,” she creates a visualization of her own life’s story on her already tattooed skin.
In the campaign video paired with the photo, she declares that she knows her status. “I am, I give, and I refuse to accept love,” Jackson says in the video. “But I am a warrior. I know my story. I know my status.”
Following this powerful statement, the words “Do you?” appear on the screen.
Just a few days prior, Jackson jetted off to Vienna with a host of other celebrity activists to attend the 2018 Life Ball.
