When Karl Lagerfeld, the reigning King of Fashion, fat shames you, there’s no better revenge than to step out in some gorgeous outfits. For Adele, who became the target of the Kaiser’s out-of-touch body opinions a few years back, she proved that even people who are “a little roundish” can drop mics both literally in regards to music and figuratively in the sartorial sense. And looking great — and doing even greater things — is like one large metaphorical f** you (to him, all her exes, and anyone else that’s ever doubted her).

Before performing new song "Water Under the Bridge” live for the first time, Adele sat down with Jimmy Fallon to play a game of “Box of Lies” (spoiler alert: she’s not a very good liar) and talk 25. She wore a black and red dress from Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2016

Look forward to this special, holiday-like look from Jenny Packham on November 20 when a special airs on the BBC in celebration of her new album. “It was that thing of, do I or don’t I want to go back to my music,” she said. “Obviously I do, and I just wanted to make sure that everything was in place for me to do it so I could do it properly. I can’t do anything else, this is all that I like doing.”

They save if you've got it, flaunt it, and that's exactly what Nicki Minaj has done with her latest social media post.

Taking to Instagram, the 34-year-old musician has shared a sexy snap in which she wears a sheer daring blouse that leaves very little to the imagination.

"Here's lookin at you, kid," she has captioned the image, which has attracted over 900,000 likes in less than a day.

The photo comes after she put on a very busty display earlier this month while attending New York Fashion Week.

All eyes were on Nicki when she arrived at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 Show, in a bold black dress with a daringly low neckline.

A few days later she performed on The Jimmy Fallon show, and once again flashed some serious flesh in a revealing jumpsuit.

While Nick Jonas may have a beach-side surprise birthday party planned for his lady, we revisit the milestone moments in Priyanka Chopra’s career so far.

From winning the Miss World Pageant in the year 2000 to making her Bollywood debut in The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2002), Priyanka has always come across as bold and confident. Her negative role in Aitraaz (2004) grabbed eyeballs and after that there was no stopping her. Four years later, when she played the role of a supermodel in Fashion, she had made it to the top. She eventually won a National Award for the same. By 2011, Priyanka Chopra entered the Rs 100 crore club with Don 2.

Interestingly, Priyanka became the first Indian actor to appear in school textbooks, courtesy her army background. The actor grew up in Bareilly, Lucknow, Mumbai in India and Newton, Massachusetts and Iowa in the USA. And her story of constantly moving base and wide exposure is now part of the Class 5 Environmental Studies textbook in the first chapter titled Roving Families, Shifting Homes.

In year 2014, PeeCee made her music debut with her first single In My City, that sold more than 130,000 copies in the first week itself. And then she bagged the lead role for an American TV show, Quantico in 2015. Quantico had three seasons and was produced by ABC. Followed by her first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in the same year.

Our lady even graced the cover of Time magazine topping the list of 100 Most Influential People. The year 2016 was particularly a great one for Chopra as she was presented the Padma Shri by President Pranab Mukherjee and later made her Oscar debut to present the Best Film Editing award to Margaret Sixel for Mad Max Fury. She even appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.

Chopra’s Hollywood debut in Baywatch (2017) made quite a buzz worldwide. In the same year she became the first South-Asian Actor to receive a People’s Choice Award for her role in Quantico. PeeCee slayed at the MET GALA with Nick Jonas in a Ralph Lauren trench coat that certainly turned heads.

Earlier this year Priyanka was among the only Bollywood celebrities to attend Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding. Well this is just the beginning to Priyanka Chopra’s already established career. On her birthday, we wish our darling, PeeCee many more such milestones ahead!

Just to get you up to speed, because we have a sudden and undeniable need for speed, Top Gun: Maverick is the sequel to the 1986 military drama Top Gun.

The first film followed the adventures of Pete Mitchell and Nick Bradshaw, although you may know them better by their Navy call signs: Maverick and Goose.

Paramount could have called the sequel Top Guns – plural – which was the original title of the first film before it was changed. But Tom Cruise revealed in 2017 that the second film would be named after his character. Why no Goose in that movie title? Check out our casting news below...

Top Gun 2 – is Tom Cruise back in the Aviators as Maverick?
It's been more than 30 years since they faced off to be the best of the best, battling for the title of 'Top Gun' at the US Navy Fighter Weapons School in Miramar, San Diego. But Top Gun 2 will definitely see rivals Maverick (Cruise) and Iceman (Val Kilmer) reunite.

At one point Kilmer seemed to confirm that there would be a role for the otherwise retired Gene Hackman in the sequel. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a spot of dream casting and was quickly retracted (although it did at least give him an excellent excuse to crack an "I jumped the Top Gun" joke).

Those fans who believe you can't have Maverick without Goose would have been heartened by Edwards' Twitter campaign, which called for his character to be a part of the sequel. "Just because I'm dead doesn't mean I can't be in the sequel. I have two words for you: Ghost Goose," he told The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Sadly, he's still missing in action.

An even bigger question was whether Kelly McGillis would return as Charlie Blackwood. Her role as a flight school teacher is made slightly redundant as that's now the position Maverick fills. However, she was also Cruise's love interest, so we'd have liked a cameo at the very least. Reports suggested she was still at home as filming on the sequel commenced, suggesting she won't play a part.

Top Gun 2 release date – when can I see it?
Paramount Pictures has given the blockbuster a release date of July 12, 2019 in the US, meaning it will arrive in cinemas more than 33 years after the original.

Top Gun 2 director – time for a new maverick?
The death of Top Gun director Tony Scott in August 2012 stalled any progress on the project, leading to speculation that the movie might be scrapped entirely. A new name would have to step forward if the film was to go ahead.

Back when Kilmer was suggesting Hackman may star, he also namechecked Francis Ford Coppola as a possible director. The tease! That wasn't to be and Cruise confirmed Joseph Kosinski was taking the reins in 2017.

hoto credit: ChinaFotoPress - Getty Images

Kosinski only has three features to his name so far: Tron: Legacy, Cruise sci-fi flick Oblivion and Only the Brave. He'll be working from a screenplay written by Peter Craig, Justin Marks, Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz.

Top Gun 2 plot – who are the bad guys?
The fist-pumping first movie saw the American pilots flip the bird at those pesky Russians, echoing the cold war vibe of the '80s.

The world moved on... but now it's seemingly moved back again, with Russian and American relations frosty once more. Could there be aerial combat between these two nations again?

What we do know is that the plot will likely be an ode to the end of the days of dogfighting as drone warfare takes over. This idea dates back to original Top Gun director Tony Scott, who said: "This world fascinated me, because it's so different from what it was originally. But I don't want to do a remake. I don't want to do a reinvention. I want to do a new movie."

"It's just a different world now, so you can't remake the first movie. It has to adapt," said Kosinski, as he teased a few details of his own. "The Navy is very different now than it was in 1986. Back then, they hadn't been in any war for 15 or 20 years at that point. Now, here in 2017, the Navy's been at war for 20 years."

Fans can still expect to see a lot of "appropriate" action, though, according to Kosinski: "I certainly want to recreate the experience of that movie, which gives you a front-seat into the world of naval aviation and what it's like to be in a fighter jet."

Top Gun 2 production
It's been a long road to Top Gun: Maverick but the cast and crew has consistently talked about their love of the first film and their belief that a sequel would be a good thing.

Cruise initially admitted "it would be fun getting into those jets. I want to get in those jets!" before confirming that Jerry Bruckheimer was still on board. Then Bruckheimer did the same in reverse, confirming that Cruise was excited to make the long-delayed film: "We're at a point right now where everybody wants to make it."

Then in 2014 Cruise said the pair were busy collaborating on a sequel script ("Jerry and I, we're working on it. If we can figure it out, it'll be a lot of fun."), before suggesting he would only do the film if he could fly the jets for real.

"I'd like to fly those jets again, but we got to do all the jets practical, no CGI on the jets," he said. "I'm saying right now, no CGI on the jets. If we can figure all that out, and the Department of Defence will allow us to do it, that would be fun."

We're not sure if Cruise himself is flying for real but given that he's tweeted a hint that filming has started, maybe he's got his wings. He learned to fly helicopters for Mission Impossible: Fallout, so anything's possible.

Top Gun 2 music – are we on the highway to the 'Danger Zone'?
A big part of the success of Top Gun was its killer '80s soundtrack. Harold Faltermeyer is reportedly returning as composer for the sequel but the more pressing question concerns Kenny Loggins' availability.

Happily, it seems Top Gun 2 will feature a new version of 'Danger Zone'. To spice things up, Loggins has suggested he could jam with a younger group.

"I'm hoping to do it maybe as a duet with a young act. I met Tom Cruise on [The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy] Fallon and I asked him that question and he said, 'Of course. We have to use 'Danger Zone'," Loggins said.

"We have some feelers out to some pretty cool rock acts. We'll reinvent the song, to a point. That's what I'm hoping to do."

With production only recently underway, there's no trailer to speak of yet – expect one maybe in November or December 2018. So feast on the music videos for 'Take My Breath Away' and 'Danger Zone' to get yourself in the mood while we wait.

Camila Cabello fans are elated this week as the singer is finally releasing her long-awaited debut album, Camila, at midnight on Jan. 12. But before the big drop, Cabello stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for another debut — her new single, Never Be the Same.

The performance was everything you’d expect from this solo singer: upbeat, electric, and sexy — and fans couldn’t get enough. Die-hard Cabello lovers even posted YouTube reaction videos, a privilege usually reserved for hyped movie trailers. This, however, speaks to the former Fifth Harmony member’s popularity.

The clock has already struck midnight in many parts of the world, and Cabello fans wasted no time in downloading, listening to, and reacting to the singer’s debut album. It’s safe to say they didn’t mind the long wait after hearing the new music.

While Camila Cabello fever gained steam on the internet today, there was another — admittedly strange — trend on Twitter. The hashtag #IBetSteveBuscemi inspired some weird responses from users. They pondered thoughts from what the actor may be doing right now to fantasizing a creepy reality for Buscemi. Let’s just say, this was a rather strange thread.

Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki on The Tonight Show

English singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson teamed up with DJ Steve Aoki for a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday. The pair performed their upbeat EDM collaboration “Just Hold On” on the late-night talk show, which is hosted by comedian Jimmy Fallon. “Just Hold On” is Tomlinson’s first release since he split with other One Direction band members and has been generally well received by One Direction fans and audiences across the world.

According to Hollywood Life, Tomlison made a laid-back appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show, dressed in a striped jacket with a black shirt and skinny jeans. Tomlison, 25, didn’t appear to have any trouble commanding the Tonight Show stage, despite being more accustomed to performing as part of a group. That being said, he was joined on stage by 39-year-old American electro house musician Steve Aoki, who has previously collaborated with vocalists including will.i.am, Afrojack, LMFAO, and Iggy Azalea.

At the end of the performance, Tomlinson and Aoki were joined on stage by the show’s host, Jimmy Fallon. The comedian congratulated the pair on their performance, before informing both the studio audience and audience at home that the pair’s debut single “Just Hold On” is available to buy right now.

Kerry Washington and her girlfriends celebrated America's Memorial Day weekend (ends30May16) with a trip to Las Vegas to see her pal Jennifer Lopez in concert.

The pregnant star treated 10 of her closest friends to a Sin City getaway on Sunday (29May16), and Kerry gave her social media followers an inside look into their unforgettable ladies-only holiday online, using the hashtag "DubsAndDaGirlsDoVegas" in snaps she shared on Instagram.

The group, which included Kerry's Scandal co-star Darby Stanchfield, jetted off from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in a private plane. When they arrived to the city, they kicked off the festivities with a "pre-game" manicure and pedicure party, courtesy of beauty brand OPI, a company the actress recently collaborated with to create the 'Washington D.C.' nail polish line inspired by her hit political TV drama.

They enjoyed a dinner at hotspot Mr. Chow, before heading over to the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, where Jennifer performs her All I Have residency show.

Both Scandal stars shared videos and photos from the concert, and Kerry, a New York native like Jennifer, even got a special shout out during the concert from the singer, who took a moment to acknowledge the actress in the audience.

"Give it up for Kerry Washington, everybody!" Jennifer told the crowd. "That's another Bronx girl right there, if you don't know. Reppin' to the fullest! Thank you for coming baby!"

Kerry later shared a photo of her backstage with Jennifer, adding the caption, "@jlo repping the best of The Boogie Down (Bronx). Love you mama."

The Django Unchained actress even got the chance to sit on the prop silver crescent moon used in the show, and she shared a snap of her lounging gracefully on the piece, tweeting, "Tonight I got to go from The Bronx to the moon and then back again. Thank you @jlo Good night Vegas."

Kerry recently revealed on America's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she and the Latina beauty have known each other long before they both became stars - Jennifer once served as Kerry's dance teacher.

It seems like the whole world is crazy for Game Of Thrones and this latest anecdote is proof that even law officials have a weak spot for the fantasy drama.

Y'see, Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, has revealed that he once got out of a speeding ticket by revealing his character’s fate.

The world was left stunned at the end of the last season of the show when Jon was murdered in cold blood by his fellow men on the Night’s Watch, with fans speculating whether or not he could actually be dead for an entire year.

Two weeks ago we were put out of our misery as Jon was brought back to life by the magical (and ancient) Melisandre, but it seems like there was a viewer out there who already knew the details before anybody else.

Kit explained that he was driving back from his parents’ house and being a bit naughty, getting caught speeding.

Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he explained: “One policeman knew. He said, ‘Look, there’s two ways we could do this. You can either follow me back to the police station now and I book you in, or you can tell me whether you live in the next series of ‘Game of Thrones.’”

When Kit told the officer that his character was still alive, he says the officer told him: “‘On your way Lord Commander. Keep the speed down this far south of the wall.’”

Classic.

We mean, we’re sure it breaks a whole lot of rules, but it’s still a pretty fab anecdote.

Kit previously apologised to fans after lying to them and saying that Jon was really dead.

After his resurrection episode aired, the actor shared: “I’d like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I’m glad that people were upset that he died. I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care or it’d just be, 'Fine, Jon Snow’s dead.’

Happy birthday, little James!

A year after she was born, Ryan Reynolds finally revealed his daughter's birthday: Dec. 16!

On Wednesday, the Deadpool actor tweeted, "Happy birthday to my baby girl! Sad I lost my virginity. But thankful I have a daughter."

Blake and Ryan, who married in 2012, have been relatively private about their daughter, not revealing her name until March and sharing the first pic a few months later.

Ryan has fully embraced his new "dad role," joking with Jimmy Fallon in September that "I've definitely lost all cool," before the 38-year-old added, "I'm the dad guy now."

Jimmy Fallon debuted a new Lip Sync Battle on Monday's Tonight Show, with a guest who wasn't afraid to go all in with her performances: Melissa McCarthy.

While Fallon performed perfectly respectable renditions of Melanie's "Brand New Key" and Zayn Malik's first solo single, "Pillowtalk," it was The Boss star who stole the show with DMX's "X Gon' Give It to Ya" and an epic, interactive performance of the Disney classic, "Colors of the Wind," from Pocahontas.

Fans may have been perplexed when the actress donned safety goggles at the top of the song, but the confusion didn't last long, as the elements named in the song -- stuffed animals, feathers and water -- began flying at McCarthy as she sang them, courtesy of a high-powered wind machine.

The actress ended her number to a standing ovation, totally covered in confetti, streamers and fake leaves. So, of course, she gave Fallon a massive hug.

"Melissa McCarthy, you're Lip Sync Battle champion!" the late-night host exclaimed.

Jennifer Garner got a respite from questions about her divorce and her Vanity Fair tell-all when she sat down with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday to promote her upcoming faith-based film Miracles From Heaven.

Instead of taking about her tumultuous personal life or her children, Garner shared a shockingly intimate story about the difficulties involved in fitting into her curve-hugging black dress for this year’s Academy Awards.

After Fallon complimented Garner on her stunning red carpet ensemble, Garner went into explicit detail about how the dress was made specifically for her, and wound up sharing more than anyone was expecting.

“Do you know how they made it?” Garner asked, pointing to a photo of the custom Versace gown. “See how I have a waist right there? I don’t have one in real life anymore.”

Ben Affleck sat down with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday's Tonight Show, but he wasn't the only superhero in the building! Fallon had a surprise for the Oscar winner -- puppies dressed up like the Justice League.

Sitting opposite each other in leather lounge chairs, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star went head-to-head with the talk show host in "Pup Quiz," the Tonight Show's game of random knowledge that ends up with opponents covered in golden retriever puppies.

Only this time, the almost-too-adorable puppies were dressed like the superheroes -- specifically those from the DC universe including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Batgirl and Supergirl.

As always, the game and the trivia don't really matter. All that mattered was who ended up "swimming in puppies," as trivia master and Tonight Show announcer Steve Higgins so eloquently described what someone looks like when they've got six curious canines crawling all over them.

Chris Martin paid tribute to David Bowie on Monday night, delivering a simple but sweet performance alongside Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.

With Martin showing off his piano-playing skills and Fallon on vocals, the pair covered Bowie's 1971 track, "Life on Mars?" Of course, no Tonight Show musical performance would be complete without a cameo from The Roots. Enter Captain Kirk Douglas, lending a hand on the guitar. Watch below.

Prior to Bowie's death, Martin revealed that the music icon had once declined to collaborate with his band.

"One time I sent him a song to ask him to sing on it. He called me and said, 'It's not one of your best,'" Martin admitted at the BBC Music Awards in 2014. "He's got very high standards and I appreciate that. It inspires the rest of us to keep our standards high."

Hip-hop has lost another legend. Phife Dawg, a founding member of the rap group A Tribe Called Quest, passed away on Tuesday, according to various reports in the hip-hop community. Though the group has not released an official statement, numerous rappers and artists have tweeted about the loss, and #RIPPhife quickly became a trending topic on Twitter.

Phife, whose real name is Malik Taylor, suffered a series of medical complications in recent years, undergoing a kidney transplant in 2008 and has been vocal in the past about his struggle with diabetes.

A Tribe Called Quest, which was comprised of the late Phife, Q-Tip, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad, paved the way for many other hip-hop groups after forming in the mid-'80s. They released five albums between 1990 and 1998, the year they split. Since then they've had several reunions, including a November appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The group's album Beats, Rhymes and Life hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 1996 and they are known for classic songs like "Bonita Applebum," "Can I Kick It?," "Electric Relaxation," and "Check the Rhime."
