It looks like Michael B. Jordan could be returning to the big screen as billionaire and part-time art thief, Thomas Crown!
The Creed star is teaming up with MGM for a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While the project is still in its earliest stages (no writer or director or other actors are yet attached), we can't help but already get excited.
Here are seven reasons Jordan is absolutely perfect to star in The Thomas Crown Affair (and why the new remake could be a truly amazing film).
Let's get this fact out of the way right off the bat. The 29-year-old star has given stellar performances in the acclaimed dramas Fruitvale Station and Creed, as well as the sci-fi/action flick Chronicle. He also showed off his comedy chops in That Awkward Moment, and we can't forget his role as Vince Howard in Friday Night Lights.
We're pretty sure he could knock a heist/adventure/thriller out of the park. According to reports, it was Jordan who came up with the potential story for this latest remake, meaning he'd be more than a little committed to crafting a compelling tale.
