Bollywood films, which were banned in Pakistan

Be it politics, diplomacy or international issues, India and Pakistan have always had their share of ifs and buts.

This time, Pakistan banned a film starring it’s own export, Ali Zafar in the lead. The film was banned as it dealt with the controversial issue of slain Al-Qaeda head Osama Bin Laden and also had derogatory remarks, vulgar and objectionable dialogues.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan

The Indian Army has a major role in the movie and what better reason for it to be knocked off! However, Yash Chopra managed to clear out the issue and enable the movie to see the light of day in Pakistan.

This one came as a surprise! The film was a love triangle between a Hindu and Sikh boy and a Muslim girl. This did not go down well the Pakistan censor board and the film did not manage to cross the border.

Agent Vinod

Real life couple Kareena and Saif played the main character of the film. This spy flick showed Pakistan’s ISI as anti-India and that was reason enough for the film to be banned!
