Akshay Kumar, who had played a negative role in Ajnabee years back, will be seen playing a baddie in Robot 2, which stars South superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. However, you would be surprised to know that Robot 2 is not Akshay's first South film!
In a recent interview, the Khiladi revealed that before becoming a mainstream Bollywood actor, he had starred in a Kannada cop drama named Vishnu Vijaya, which had also starred South star Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Ashwini Bhave and Pankaj Dheer. The film was made both in Hindi and Kannada and though the Hindi version, which was titled Ashaant was a major flop, the Kannada version was a super-hit.
On the Bollywood front, Akshay will be next seen in Rustom, in which he will play a Navy officer.
