This Morning’s Holly Willoughby suffered a wardrobe malfunction while she was in the toilet at 10 Downing Street.
She revealed her dress zip split while she was attending a charity function at the Prime Minister’s famous London residence.
The TV presenter posted a photo of her dress disaster on Instagram, showing the body-fitting red dress with a zip down the back that had split from top to bottom.
Re-living her fashion fail on air with her This Morning co-host, Phillip Schofield, Willoughby said the incident occurred shortly after arriving at the charity benefit being held in aid of Together For Short Lives.
“As soon as we’d walked through that lovely, famous black door, I gave them my coat,” she explained, “You have to give your phone in because you’re not allowed to have your phone, but we went up the grand staircase with all the PM’s pictures, very beautiful, very lovely.”
She went on to explain: “Dan (her husband) needed the loo so I said, ‘OK, I’ll go to the loo too.’ Went to the loo, stood up and then I heard this noise and my zip on the back of my dress went completely.
“Now this isn’t just a little zip, this zip goes from top to bottom, so I am now stood there with no coat, no phone, in the toilet in Downing Street, on my own, thinking what do I do. I can’t walk out, my bum is out.”
She was finally rescued by the next person who made a trip to the toilets and called her husband.
