On March 29, he won ‘Most Able Vocalist of the Year’ at ‘2016 KU MUSIC ASIAN AWARDS’ held in Guangzhou, China.
‘KU MUSIC ASIAN AWARDS’ is hosted by KUGOU and KUWO and it is its second time to hold it. Not only Hwang Chi Yeol, Kim Jong Guk, Kangta, SHINee, 2PM Nichkhun and other Chinese celebrities attended to grace the event.
In particular, as he earned such an award only after three months of his debut in China, he proved his tremendous popularity in China. He said, “I really appreciate for this meaningful award, especially to ‘I Am Singer’ team of Hunan TV.”
